The 26year old Kenyan fashion blogger, Sharon Mundia yesterday treated her YouTube followers to the very first Q&A session after a short break from blogging.It was a session where you could ask her anything through the social media platforms and she would respond through her channel, ThisisEss.
Most of the questions bordered around her wedding, whether it was happening or not; when it would happen; how she met her fiancée Lonina and if she would be sharing her wedding planning updates. "I am a bit nervous about sharing my wedding planning updates," she said explaining that this was because after she had shared her engagement story, the reactions were so out of control that it made her nervous.'I didn't know if I had shared too much, and it was difficult to strike a balance, " she says adding that she even vowed never to post anything personal. But that was then. Now, she is reaching out to her followers and is asking if she should share her wedding planning updates or not.Yes, the wedding is happening and it is just recently she has been consumed by the planning. It is probably also why she has been inconsistent with her blogging. 'I initially wasn't interested in the whole planning, but now I am," she says.
The video also reveals that she will be wedding later this year, though no specific dates have been given. Another wedding detail she slips into the video is that her maid of honour is her best friend, the very same one who introduced her to Lonina.
Speaking of Lonina, she describes him as cool, fun, funny, emotional, giving and confident, with emphasis on confident.
Among other questions she answered were her current reads, pocket-friendly getaway destinations, if she buys clothes anymore, her business philosophy, fitness and beauty regimes, and what she pursued in school.
