As a child I loved watching comedy a lot. I loved watching Eddie Murphy, Richard Pryor and the list goes on. One of my best movies still remain The Blazing Saddles. If you remember the blazing saddles you will remember Gene Wilder.
It is rather unfortunate that am here reading about his death. He was an icon in the American movie industry. Jerome Silberman who is known professionally as Gene Wilder was also a screen comic actor, film director and author. He died at the age of 83.
Jordan Walker-Pearlman, who is a nephew to the actor, revealed news concerning his death on Monday, August 29, 2016.
According to a statement released by the nephew, the late actor died as a result complications resulting from Alzheimer's disease.Wilder reportedly passed away at his home in Stamford, Connecticut, leaving a sharp feeling of nostalgia on his fans.
Mel Brooks, a leading American actor, comedian was among the host of associates who poured in their tributes to the late comic.
Brooks wrote on his Twitter, "Gene Wilder-One of the truly great talents of our time. He blessed every film we did with his magic & he blessed me with his friendship."
