Word is out! Guess who's coming to SA? Steve Harvey of course and he is not coming alone but he is bringing along his famous friends.
The US comedian, who famously mis-crowned the wrong contestant at the Miss Universe annual pageant last year, is heading to South Africa for the first Essence Music Festival in Durban.
Steve will be in town for the event, which will take place at the International Convention Center and Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban from November 8 to November 13.
Steve will be joined at the festival by a host of US stars, including singer/ songwriters Estelle and Kelly Price, who will both speak at the festival.
Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter Yolanda Adams will also be making the trip to perform at the event’s All-Star Gospel Tribute.
But it's not all stars and stripes.
The international stars will be joined by a host of local acts, including Big Nuz, DJ Zinhle, Thandiswa Mazwai, Babes Wodumo and Black Coffee.
The festival is an extension of the popular US Essence Festival held in New Orleans each year.
