Ways to build a healthy self esteem.

These tips will make you feel better about yourself.

Self encouragement


The way you look at yourself and what you think about yourself has an influence on your self esteem. If you look down on yourself and keep thinking negative thoughts you might start to believe that you are good for nothing even though it’s not true instead say some positive words to yourself and challenge your negative thinking and build your confidence levels.
Avoid perfection
Keep in mind that no one is perfect so you mustn’t force yourself to be. It is okay if you make mistakes just try again and if you are not good at a particular skill or thing do not force it, you can look for something else that you are good at and enjoy doing it.
Surround yourself with positive people 
Associate with people that see the positive side of you and encourage you to do well and not with those that look for every way to bring you down and have nothing good to say. You are very free to cut off the negativity in your life.

Avoid comparison

Do not compare yourself to others. Compare yourself to yourself. Focus on you! Do not feel that you should be just as good as or better than the next person. Instead of looking down on yourself because you are not as good as someone in an area, you look for what you are good at or strive harder. It will motivate you.

Do what you love doing

When you do the things you love it will create an atmosphere of positivity and it will go a long way in boosting a healthy self esteem.

Do the right thing 

When you do the right thing you strengthen your self esteem for example giving someone a compliment instead of an insult. It is not always easy to do. Keeping  focus on  it makes a difference on what you think of yourself.

Know yourself

Learn to explore yourself, know your strength and weakness and also open up yourself to new opportunities, new accomplishments, new friendships, try something new.

Learn to relax

It may be a few minutes just take some time out to be quiet and stop thinking too much. People can relax in different ways by playing games, resting. When you are properly relaxed your memory works better.

Exercise
 Being active and fit helps you feel better about yourself. It will take away any form of stress and pave way for a healthy mind.
