10 FEEL GOOD HABITS

Work is part of everyday life, but most of the times we forget to step back relax and take care of our bodies and minds. We end up thinking stress as part of everyday life.We all want to feel good, as often as we can. There are many habits that help me to feel good on a daily basis. I think it’s important for everyone to figure out what works for them, but to get you started check out my top 10 daily habits for wellness, energy, radiance, and joy.

juice!
Juicing is the process of extracting juice from fruit or vegetables. It can be simply done with a blender. Juicing everyday is going to give you more benefits than you can ever imagine.
Juicing can help: promote weight loss, boost immune system, increase energy, support brain health. It will be great if you juice from time to time before you go to work or sleep.

show gratitude

A healthy mind equals a healthy body. Try and show everybody you come across each and every day. An attitude of gratitude provides a solid foundation that can support growth in other areas of your life. If you understand the Law of Attraction, then you know that the more grateful you are, the more you get to be grateful about!
This in turn spreads love and makes you feel good!

yoga

Yoga is all about harmonizing the body with the mind and breath through the means of various breathing techniques. The benefits of yoga go far and beyond improving flexibility.  It could be just five minutes of stretches, or even going upside down for an energy boost.

get more sleep

Getting adequate sleep is vital for your health and can boost your metabolism, help you maintain a healthy weight, enhance your mood, protect your cardiovascular health, fight illness and disease and  prevent wrinkles.  Create a comfortable sleeping environment by decluttering your bedroom, finding a pillow you love and clean up your sheets regularly.

exercise more

Not only is it something anyone can do, it is also very beneficial when it comes to remaining present and taking in the atmosphere and nature. Just 30 minutes of walking/jogging will add great value to your physical and mental health. Create an environment that supports more activity. Fill your iPod with your favourite energetic tunes. Partner up: choose a fun exercise and move your body.

stay hydrated

Water is so beneficial, so easy, so free yet so easily overlooked. Experts recommend drinking eight to 10 glasses of water each day to maintain good health. Drinking an adequate amount of water daily is important for overall good health because water aids in digestion, circulation, absorption and a lot more!

Disconnect

We are a very wired society, on technology 24/7. Give your eyes, your mind, and your soul a break from your technological devices for a little bit everyday instead indulge in a soul lifting exercise and feed your mind with the right things.

work on your self esteem

Self-esteem is shaped by your thoughts, relationships and experiences. Our outward acts are a manifestation of who we are on the inside.  Let’s remind ourselves to love who we are from the inside out. Look at yourself in the mirror every morning and say positive things.

meditate

There are many forms of meditating, but the one I find most helpful is the one that focuses on your breathing and the present. It’s about focusing on what is. All you do is find a spare 10 minutes in your day and focus on your breathing. It helps to clear the mind and revitalize your brain. If you find it hard at first to meditate (i.e. many thoughts coming in and out of your mind), try your hardest to focus on inhaling and exhaling.

eat healthy

This doesn’t necessarily mean you must clear out all carbohydrates and snacks. It means you should reduce your intake of them. Start slow and it will become a habit. The little thing you do will make a big change like; drinking skim milk instead of whole milk, eating wheat bread instead of white bread, eating brown rice instead of white rice, having fruit as a desert instead of cookies.
