Rihanna was in the middle of a dinner at a restaurant in Nice when she learned 84 people were slaughtered just 20 minutes away.
She was scheduled to perform at a concert on Friday night, but cancelled it out of respect and security concerns.
Rihanna was fixated on her phone, presumably trying to figure out what to do in the wake of the murders.
