TMZ reports that Marilyn Munroe's former Palm Springs bungalow was burgled Tuesday and unfortunately the crooks have not been caught.
Law enforcement responded to an active burglar alarm and on getting there saw the front door had been kicked in.
The home was believed to be recently owned by an elderly woman who died recently and the home was just lying vacant.
It is reported that officers combed the area and found power tools on a nearby lawn that appeared to have been stolen from the house.
Marilyn called the bungalow her second home in the late '50s, and Palm Springs proudly displayed a statue honoring the star until 2014.
So far, no suspects.
