A man has been arrested after a woman lost her baby in an allegedly racist attack. Police said a 37-year-old Milton Keynes has been taken into custody on suspicion of racially inflamed assault on Wednesday morning following the incident.
Report says the victim, 34, was shopping in a co-op near Milton Keynes when a man allegedly launched a tirade of racist abuse at her. He is said to have followed her to her car before kicking her hard in the stomach. She collapsed in severe pain and was rushed to the hospital where she was told that she has lost the baby. A 40 year-old man also allegedly had a bottle and a bag of ice smashed against his head when he tried to intervene. Both victims were taken to Milton Keynes General Hospital. However, both have been discharged. Police had released a CCTV image of a man they wished to question in connection with the attack shortly after 9:30am on August 6 in Water Baton Road Bletchley.
