According to US news.com Hillary Clinton abruptly left a memorial service for 9/11 victims in New York City on Sunday, September 11, leading to speculation about a possibly serious health issue, but her doctor later released a statement saying that the Democratic presidential nominee is on the mend.
“Secretary Clinton has been experiencing a cough related to allergies,”Dr. Lisa R. Bardacksaid in a statement Sunday. “On Friday, during follow up evaluation of her prolonged cough, she was diagnosed with pneumonia. She was put on antibiotics, and advised to rest and modify her schedule. While at this morning’s event, she became overheated and dehydrated. I have just examined her and she is now re-hydrated and recovering nicely.”
