Poem: AS I WATCHED YOU SLEEP By Poet Ugochukwu Emebiriodo.

AS I WATCHED YOU SLEEP.
As I watched you sleep
Tears trickled down my face
For in all of life's haste
I had forgotten to stop and stare
At God's masterpiece
A potter's envy
You.
As I watched you sleep
I saw peace
Even in your sickness
The radiance of your smile
Elevated me
I noticed your lips
Your perfectly carved nose
Even the tiredness in your closed eyes
I noticed you.
