Michael Phelps and his fiancee are expecting.

BALTIMORE, Nov. 18 (UPI) -- Olympic star Michael Phelps and his fiancée Nicole Johnson are expecting their first child together.
The couple made the announcement on Instagram Wednesday that Johnson is 12 weeks pregnant with a baby boy.

"We found out 8 weeks ago we were expecting...Today we're over 12 weeks and it looks like we're having a boy!! #babymp #mp #lifeabouttochange #mpswim," Phelps captioned the post alongside a photo of the swimmer holding up a pair of baby-sized swimming trunks around Johnson's stomach outside an Olympic sized pool.
Johnson posted the same photo on her Instagram account adding that the soon-to-be husband and wife "couldn't be happier."
Phelps and Johnson dated for years off-and-on again since 2011 until the 22-time medalist got engaged to Johnson earlier this year in February.
Recently, Phelps opened up to Sports Illustrated about his time in rehab following his second DUI arrest from 2014 and how he had begun training again for the 2016 Olympic Summer Games.
