Yomi Casual Accused of Abandoning Baby Mama and One Month Old Son In Warri.

AY Makun’s younger brother, Omoniyi Makun popularly known as Yomi Casual has been entangled in baby mama wahala(trouble) as a lady attacked him on Instagram claiming that he abandoned his one month old son and ex in Warri. The lady in question went on to reveal that after Yomi got his ex-girlfriend pregnant, he enticed her into having the baby in Warri and told her to keep the baby a secret so that people don’t bewitch them

The comment reads:

Yomi you are just one hell of a useless boy living a fake life. Ungrateful soul that’s what u are. Where was dis harlot wen faith was suffering with in your one room apartment? Now u impregnated faith, u deceived her to go and have d baby in warri. That she should hide the baby from the public so that then don’t bewitch them. All for your selfish interest so you can chill with the contaminated public p***y. You have abandoned faith and your one month old son in warri. You think God is asleep. If you don’t retrace your footstep the thunder that will fire you will come with abject poverty and infertility. Beast.

The lady continued her rant in yet another IG comment saying:

What is dope about this fake life Lagos wannabe. That rented a house and claimed he bought the house. A girl that was with you when you had nothing. Now because it is all rosy you feel she’s not your class. She lost the first pregnancy she had for you, you deceived her into getting pregnant again by buying her one cheap Camry. After getting pregnant you told her to go and hide in warri. That after the birth of the baby you will pay her bride price. Now baby has arrived, this is the bride price you have for her. God will punish you. You will not go far in life.

 In 2013 Yomi Casual did admit in an interview that he was in a long distance relationship with his childhood girlfriend. The clothier explained that even though she was not the most beautiful girl in the lot, she stood by him during his hustling days while he was in Warri making hand-made cards and signboards.

When asked why they are not together anymore, Yomi said “I still don’t know. She is not a very beautiful girl. You know Lagos, if you are a celebrity, you want to marry a very beautiful girl; a red carpet wife. My mentor told me, ‘Yomi don’t follow Lagos people o and say you want to marry a red carpet wife. There is a red carpet wife and there is the real wife. I am not after a red carpet wife because with a red carpet wife, you don’t know what the man is facing inside the house. You see them outside looking all clean and you wish to be like them. When they get indoors and you see what the man is going through, you will not want to marry a beautiful girl. My fiancé is God-fearing, very wise, same age group”.

Yomi has not responded to the lady’s statements and has since deleted the photo of him with another woman that had the comments.

Why I abused, threatened Tinubu's wife- Dino Melaye.

Dino Melaye, the senator of the ruling All Progressives Congress representing Kogi West, has confirmed his reported clash with Oluremi Tinubu, the senator representing Lagos central, during senate’s closed-door session on Tuesday.

Mr. Melaye, however, denied using some words reported by the media.

Senators at the session had told PREMIUM TIMES on Wednesday that Mr. Melaye verbally assaulted Mrs. Tinubu.

One source  quoted Mr. Melaye as saying, “Look this is not Bourdillon (referring to the famous Lagos residence of Mrs. Tinubu’s politician husband). I will beat you up, ….. impregnate you and nothing will happen.”

But addressing a press conference Thursday, Mr. Melaye said he never spoke about impregnating Mrs. Tinubu, whom he said had reached menopause.

He said he did not use “insolent, abusive, degrading and mannerless language against any Senator”.

“How could I have said I would beat and impregnate her at the same time?” Mr. Melaye asked.

Mr. Melaye however admitted using harsh words, but did not say what they were.

He said he reacted furiously because he was provoked.

“I did it because I am not a coward,” said Mr. Melaye, a former member of the House of Representatives, who frequently demonstrated unruly conduct during house sittings.

Giving details of Tuesday’s fight, our sources said trouble started when Mr. Melaye urged the Senate to descend heavily on members who had offered to serve as prosecution witnesses in the ongoing forgery case against Senate President Bukola Saraki and his deputy, Ike Ekweremadu.

The Kogi senator is said to have accused the senators of being used by the presidency to destabilise the Senate and warned them to be ready to face the consequences of their action.

“You should go and tell those who sent you that nobody, I said nobody, no matter who he is, can ever control this Senate,” Mr. Melaye was quoted as saying as he pointed at the affected senators, his face contorted in rage.

Our sources said Mrs. Tinubu, wife of former Lagos Governor Bola Tinubu, later addressed the senate, saying “I’m just wondering why whenever Senator Dino speaks in this chamber, he is always threatening people and behaving childishly and at times like a thug.

“I think he needs to know that every senator here represents their constituencies. And that there is no need to threaten anyone.

“We are seeking and working towards reconciliation, yet you are busy issuing threats.”

Apparently infuriated by the remarks, Mr. Melaye jumped from his seat and charged towards his Lagos counterpart.

Witnesses said as Mr. Melaye charged towards the Lagos senator, other senators, especially those from the South-West geopolitical zone, waded in and shielded Mrs. Tinubu from attack, and then calmed her down.

A few other senators also prevailed on Mr. Melaye to take it easy and let peace reign, sources said.

Ambode vows to make Badagry Africa's hub of tourism.

The Lagos State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode chaired the State Executive Council Meeting that was held at the VIP Chalet in Badagry, just as he said that his administration has fine-tuned plans to make the ancient town of Badagry a centre of tourism and resort enterprise in Africa within the next 18 to 24 months.
The Governor, who spoke to journalists shortly after undertaking  an inspection tour, said his administration would spare nothing to make Badagry a turning point for developmental projects in the State.

The Governor said, “Our eyes are set on Badagry, let’s do something for the future. We are going to open up Badagry forever.” Governor Ambode, who was escorted by all members of the State Executive Council, also inspected ongoing projects and other government establishments in Badagry which according to him was an immediate response to the questions and suggestions from the 2016 Second Quarter Town Hall Meeting which held at the Muslim Community Praying Ground in Badagry on Tuesday.

He also inspected the road under construction from Badagry Expressway to Whispering Palms Resort, where he said that the contract for completion would be awarded next week, which according to him would further upgrade the tourism potentials of the area. Governor Ambode also paid an unscheduled visit to the Badagry Asphalt Plant, where he also seized the occasion to commission the facility. 

Addressing the workers at the Asphalt Plant, Governor Ambode praised them for the duty and commitment to work, saying that his administration is not unaware of their hard work just as he assured that they would be duly rewarded.

Adding his voice, the Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Tunji Bello, said that this was the first time, in his many years in service in the State Executive Council, that a Government would be holding its Executive Council Meeting in Badagry.
This, according to him, was a good sign of the visionary leadership Governor Ambode was providing in the State.
Also speaking, the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr. Steve Ayorinde, reiterated the symbolism and importance of the State Executive Council Meeting, which according to him was holding in Badagry for the first time. Ayorinde said that the decision of the Governor to take the meeting outside the Lagos House, Ikeja, for the very first time, was a clear indication of the Governor’s readiness and commitment to spread development to every nook and cranny of the State. He said that the Governor had spent three days in Badagry, which according to him, goes to show that every part of the State is secured and the Governor can perform his duty in every part of the State.
